In a video published by Global Times on Wednesday, Musk said China has "so many things to see" and recommended that visitors experience the country for themselves.

"I took the bullet train from Beijing to Xi'an. That was a great experience."

Musk also mentioned the train stations, describing them as "amazing," before encouraging travelers to pay attention to the scenery along the journey.

"Just make sure you look out the window and you're not on your phone, because there's so much to see."

The high-speed railway connects Beijing with Xi'an, a historic city in the northwest.

Beijing is home to attractions like the Forbidden City and the Great Wall, while Xi'an, which served as the capital of 13 dynasties, is home to the Terracotta Warriors.

Musk did not go into detail about the train journey, but singled it out as one of his experiences in China.

He called the Terracotta Warriors "one of the wonders of the world."

They form part of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, a UNESCO world heritage site located about 35 kilometers northeast of Xi'an.

The complex contains nearly 200 pits with thousands of life-size terracotta soldiers and horses, bronze chariots, and weapons.

"Any words I say do not do justice to the incredible majesty that is China," Musk said in the video. "It's awesome."
