The facilities include Holland Village Market and Food Center, Bukit Batok West Hawker Center and Punggol Coast Hawker Center, which are located near popular tourist attractions in the city-state, according to Singapore's National Environment Agency (NEA).

NEA conducts regular cleaning of hawker centers to ensure that Singaporeans and tourists can continue to enjoy affordable food in a clean and hygienic environment, Asia One reported.
Hawker centers are an integral part of Singaporean culture, offering affordable communal dining and a wide range of cuisines. These large, often open-air complexes house numerous stalls serving local and international dishes.
There are 123 markets and hawker centers in Singapore.
Some tourists said eating at Singapore hawker centers is exceptionally safe thanks to strict government regulations, regular inspections, and mandatory hygiene ratings.
