The flight between Seoul and Jeju takes around one hour and 15 minutes and is popular with travelers combining a visit to the South Korean capital with a trip to Jeju Island.
Often dubbed the "Hawaii of South Korea," the island is famed for its volcanic scenery, UNESCO-listed natural attractions, and distinctive cultural heritage, including the haenyeo — female free divers who have harvested seafood for generations.
Vietnam's Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route ranked third busiest domestic route in July, followed by Japan's Fukuoka - Tokyo Haneda.
The rankings are based on the number of scheduled airline seats available during the current calendar month, with each route measured by total capacity in both directions. The figures are compiled from the OAG Schedules Analyser using data collected in the first week of each month and represent the latest full month of scheduled domestic and international flights.
