After taking the top spot in the category last year, the Hong Kong-based carrier slipped to third place behind Singapore Airlines.

The award recognized airlines for offering a wide selection and high quality of inflight entertainment. It considered factors including the selection and recency of movies, TV programs, music and games, as well as the availability and functionality of onboard Wi-Fi.

Emirates said travelers flying with the airline can choose from up to 6,500 channels of movies, TV shows, music and games, on demand and in multiple languages.

The carrier transported a record 55.6 million passengers in 2025, reinforcing its status as the world's largest international airline.

Doha-based Qatar Airways claimed the fourth position, followed by British airline Virgin Atlantic.
