Data from the online travel platform showed that searches in Indonesia were up 86% year-on-year, the second biggest increase in searches for accommodation in Vietnam after China (164%).
That was followed by the Philippines with 82% increase and Thailand with 65%.

Ho Chi Minh City was the most searched Vietnamese destination among Chinese, Malaysian and New Zealand travelers, according to Agoda.
The central coastal city of Da Nang, known for its long sandy beaches, was the top search choice among Thai travelers.
Vietnam received 12.3 million international visitors in the first six months of the year, a 14.9% increase from the same period last year, fueled by the country's reputation as a safe destination amid global geopolitical uncertainty.
Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand were among the country's 20 largest sources of inbound visitors while China remained its top source.
