Hanoi's old quarter is also featured in the list and described as an area that reflects the capital's daily pace of life.

The old quarter is a dense maze of narrow alleys, shops, and street food stalls, interspersed with French colonial architecture, ancient temples, and pagodas.

Travelers are encouraged to explore on foot to fully experience the area, strolling through specialized craft streets, sampling street food and sidewalk coffee, and discovering historic French-style villas hidden deep within the alleyways.
