"There is awareness through the internet as well. Things are happening all around. There is no shortage of talent in Pakistan," Aalijah said during the demonstration.
The experimental system was developed by Abbottabad-based technology enthusiast Ehsan Zafar and allows the car to be operated remotely over an internet connection. Local reports said a connectivity problem caused the vehicle to lose control, turning the technology showcase into a viral moment online.
