The multilayer aluminum roof features flowing curves, while the exposed steel beam system spans 81 meters, creating a modern, spacious interior.
The facility's architectural concept draws inspiration from the Vietnamese creation myth of the Dragon and Fairy descendants.
According to the legend, the dragon lord Lac Long Quan and the mountain fairy Au Co produced a magical pouch of 100 eggs that hatched into 100 children.
To populate and protect the region, the couple eventually parted ways, with 50 children following their father to the sea and the rest following their mother to the highlands. This mythology is reflected in the building's design, which features 50 supporting columns symbolizing Lac Long Quan and the children who followed him to the coast.
The architecture also incorporates imagery of the 100-egg pouch and traditional village bamboo hedges. The main auditorium, named Hung Vuong (Hung King), Lac Long Quan's first-born son who became the first king of Vietnam, features a burgundy color scheme combined with champagne-gold trim.
Its layered ceiling draws inspiration from traditional tiled roofs and the distinctive headdresses worn by the Hung Kings.
