Investigators launched the probe after detecting signs that counterfeit earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings, and timepieces were being sold illegally.
Police monitored Dwatch's online operations, collected electronic data, and tracked both financial transactions and delivery routes to uncover the business model and trace the source of the products.
Armed with this evidence, police and market surveillance authorities raided the Dwatch business premises on Go Dau Street in Tan Son Nhi Ward.
Officers discovered a massive cache of items falsely bearing the logos of prestigious brands, including Hermes, Richard Mille, Rolex, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels (VCA), Louis Vuitton, Omega, and Hublot.

The seized goods were undocumented, lacking invoices, receipts, or the mandated regulatory labels. Authorities confirmed the items showed clear signs of being counterfeit versions of brands protected in Vietnam.
Police stated that Du formally established and registered the trading company in January 2025.
During questioning, he admitted to knowing the foreign brands were legally protected by Vietnamese law. Despite this, he marketed the fakes on the company's website and social media channels, including Facebook and Zalo, to turn a personal profit.
