The ticket, number 267822, was purchased on July 13 and was picked as the grand prize winner on Monday, Khaleej Times reported.
The 10-member group, who come from the Philippines, India and Bangladesh, will each receive Dh2 million, The National News reported.
A Bangladeshi member of the group selected the winning numbers, while Herboso purchased the ticket on behalf of all 10 members.
Herboso said he has yet to decide how he will spend his share of the prize, choosing to take his time before making any major financial decisions.

The Big Ticket was founded in 1992 with an inaugural grand prize of Dh1 million and has grown into one of the UAE's most popular monthly lottery draws, according to its website.
Tickets for the Big Ticket Millionaire draw cost Dh500 and can be purchased online or at sales counters at Zayed International Airport and Al Ain Airport.
Last month, Indian expatriate Kanika Arora won the Dh25 million grand prize with ticket number 476107, which she bought on June 30.
