The popular fuel RON95 added 5.67% to VND27,080 (US$1.04) per liter.

E5 RON92 increased 5.01% to VND26,390. Diesel added 1.84% to VND30,490.

Globally the fuel market had been affected in recent days by Iran's announcement of conditions for resuming talks with the U.S. aimed at ending the conflict, as well as complicated developments involving Houthi forces and Saudi Arabia in the Middle East, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

RON 95 gasoline rose 0.7% to $147.2 a barrel, while diesel fell 5.1% to $173.3 a barrel.
